Milkshakes for breakfast... just do it. This healthy dairy-free version of my all-time favourite ice cream flavour is heaven sent. The raw cacao is full of antioxidants (mint too!), spinach gives an iron boost and avocado adds a creaminess from heart-healthy fats.

Ingredients:

1 cup homemade almond milk (if you use store bought, add a medjool date)

1/2 tbsp raw cacao powder

1 tbsp raw cacao nibs

1/2 banana (fresh or frozen)

1/2 cup frozen chopped spinach (or 1 cup fresh)

1/4 cup of fresh mint

1/4 of an avocado

Handful of ice, as needed

Optional: One tbsp of this for a boost of protein

Method:

Blend all together in a Vitamix or regular blender and enjoy! I drink mine with a straw to avoid the green moustache;)
